Ready to walk away from football football his father reminded him that after you quit there’s no going back, so Nania transferred to Division Two school Slippery Rock University where he started all fourteen games in his senior year, passing for 3,121 yards and 31 touchdowns, winning the Conference Championship MVP while leading the number one scoring offence to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2015.
At 6’1 and 200 pounds (90 kilos) Nania won’t be a pushover, as he was a standout wrestler in high school, boasting a 34-5 record as a senior at Hempfield Area High School. As well as his impressive wrestling figures, Nania set the record for the most yards in a season opener with 324. The four-time letter winner threw for 1,512 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior.
